Preserving Civil Rights
and The Story of Voting
The Struggle Continues!
Fifty-three years ago, young people answered Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s call to spend the summer of 1965 in the South registering black people to vote. Too many people that summer shed their blood and gave their lives for the right to vote. And now fifty years later, efforts are being made again to block your path to the ballot box. So remember the price paid for your right to vote and rise up and register to vote today.
